Welcome and thank you for your interest in my work. My name is Tom Blakely and I am tbphotographic. I have a great studio in Pilsen and work with some great people in order to make sure that I deliver something unique, something with feeling and most importantly, something that the client loves.
I have taken the time to learn this craft and to keep up with it’s ever changing technologies. I learned on film and in darkrooms and have taken those aesthetics and brought them into the digital age. You will not find overly photoshopped images here nor any fantasy images with illustrated backgrounds. My editing will not go far beyond what is capable in a darkroom. I let my images speak through the subjects and not something that is created on the computer. I create images with feeling and emotion. Images you can grab hold of in your minds. It is about showcasing the beautiful and the alluring and making them attainable.
This website is geared towards my portrait work and my cityscapes. It also gives you a peek at my restoration work as well.
